I live in St. Clair County Michigan where there is water everywhere and shipwrecks by the dozens. I have had at least 3 friends tell me about Magnet fishing. Ok. I'll bite. (I think).Rubber glovesA big to keep the whole set in.To test it, I threw in it an old pond. I didn't get anything but there would be no reason anything would be down there. I threw a few old shackles in and it grabbed them tight and would not let go.Even when I pulled the magnet I was a bit worried how I was going to release it. I have heard bad stories that guys have hit them with a hammer to release them and the magnets can break. I did manage to pry it off but I am sold on the strength of this thing.Very cool and it will be fun to see what we find near the wrecks.
