I used it to disassemble a total of 12 hard drives lying around. I had to go inside to destroy the disks and make it impossible to recover the data. I used them with a Black and Decker cordless drill, a very underpowered Walmart model we've had for years, to speed up the process and save my hands. Wrist. Luckily I removed each drive's cover before I broke anything, but shortly thereafter I quickly broke 4 of them by removing the components from inside the hard drives. The "tool" steel they're made of isn't designed for almost every torque. If I were to use a regular screwdriver in a more normal use case, I'd probably be fine, but I'd still worry about them breaking easily, especially the smaller sizes.
