Let my attached photo speak for itself as to why I bought this. In the last 2 years of my constant travel I got legally stuck 5 times mostly in the sand like in the photo. In most cases I was able to dig up the ground with a shovel, blocks etc. but 2 times I couldn't and had to be towed. Both times I was strapless and had to haggle with strangers for help. Even the tow strap broke once and I felt terrible. My RV weighs over 5,000 pounds and needs a very strong tow strap so I went with this baddie. It is very durable and can tow almost 20km! I obviously haven't had to use it yet, but I'm impressed with what I'm seeing.
