These great value tags are printed (not engraved) so I believe the writing may fade over time. Engraved ones last longer and wear out less; If your dog tags jingle on the collar (Vaxx metal tag, microchip tag, license. I wrote the dog's name and my phone on one side and my address on the other side. But you can have an email address and a cell phone or a web URL, a dog's breed and color, a microchip ID, whatever. So I give four stars for the flexibility of the information on these tags, the speed, and the cost. I have bones, a less expensive option (some cost more) and they worked really well.
