Nice teapot at a good price

Nice little teapot with a flexible neck. This thing is lightweight and feels nice and balanced when poured. It's built pretty well and feels like it should last a while. It does the job for which it is intended. The built-in thermometer comes in very handy as you don't have to look for a thermometer that goes through holes and lets steam through like other kettles do. It may come loose as it is fixed with a nut inside. This is normal as you can just tighten it if it comes loose. This is also good as you can remove it later if you feel the need. Follow the instructions and don't fill it to the brim like any other kettle. If you need more water, get a bigger kettle. I max it out on the top comb and everything is fine. It doesn't have graduations so just use the tabs as markers and after a few cups of coffee you'll know how much to add each time. Just watch it and don't let it cook; it's not a whistling kettle. The handle is made of hard plastic and feels good in the hand. There are no annoying burrs in the molding process, so it does its job well. You have to be careful not to burn your hand removing the lid when it's hot, so just use a towel or something if you have to. Comfortable grip and balanced kettle so you don't have to use your other hand to hold the lid when pouring. It pours well and smoothly as you would expect from a kettle of this type, no problems here. This type of kettle pours water slowly, so you don't have to worry about water "sticking" over the coffee like you would with traditional kettles. To clean, I simply pour out the excess water and open the top lid. how to dry. I leave it on a warm flame to make sure it dries. It shouldn't rust, but there doesn't have to be water left in the kettle either; just mind your stuff. Overall a good gooseneck kettle for the price. I use it for my brew machine so the size is just right and it has enough capacity to brew multiple cups of coffee.
