Great replacement. quiet work. I had to replace my original one 2 years ago and used a cheaper pump (Airtex) and it was noisy from the start. Eventually the internal check valve failed and the top pressure sensor failed as well. It was difficult to start, but after starting it started. I ended up replacing it with this pump and it starts right up and runs perfectly. I really have to listen to hear the boost pressure even when the key is on. The best way to swap out a pump in a truck is to either tilt the body or remove it entirely (with the help of some friends). GM uses an O-ring and is difficult to press down to install the snap ring. Lubricating the ring makes this a little easier. I've been using it for a month now and I'm very satisfied.
