Perfect OEM Fit - Electric Fuel Pumps

Same as OEM except electrical connector. I installed this on a 1998 GMC C3500 7.4L. The calibration is accurate and the pump is quiet.

  • Weight
Cons
  • Can't remember

good fuel pump fits electric fuel pumps

fits my 1997 chevrolet c1500 exactly. It comes with an o-ring to seal the pump and a new fitting with fittings to replace the old factory fittings. The whole work took 2 hours without elevator. works perfectly. Akdelko reliability.

Pros
  • free for educational purposes
Cons
  • good but not great

TOTAL WASTE!: Fuel Pumps and Accessories

This is my second pump in less than half a year! I ordered the first one instead of my own, twisted everything as instructed in the instructions. Then, on a fine day, for about a month, the pump wouldn't turn on. So I called Revain and they sent me a replacement and put in a second one. A month and a half later, things went wrong again. The fuel filter has been changed twice and the crosshead injection system is new, as are the lower intake gaskets.

  • Great Price

Don't buy aftermarket because you may have to do it again

I've been an auto mechanic for over 30 years. Many people are quick to look to pre-OEM parts because of the cost. My years of experience confirms that OEMs consistently outperform aftermarket parts and their costs are closely related to aftermarket prices. I recommend OEM in all repairs. I once used a secondary fuel pump after only 1000 miles to replace it again. Go OEM

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Vulgarity

The first fuel pump was defective

Bought and installed a delco A/C fuel pump (not an easy task). 2 months later defective! (Bad check valve in the pump) The truck runs fine, as soon as it starts it runs and the pressure in the fuel line rises. BUT after it sits overnight the fuel line depressurizes and then takes forever (50-60 key turns yes I figured...lol) to start the next morning! After starting in the morning it works great all day even if it's off for 2-3 hours) Local GM dealer fixed some bugs!

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Expensive

Original quality, universal (GM) fit.

The pump works perfectly and I think it's worth buying the original version. It comes with a new gasket and connector and fittings for retrofitting existing wiring. The only problem I have is that my car doesn't have a tank pressure sensor. This is a 98 seat K3500 cab with a 7.4 Vortec engine. I need the truck tomorrow so instead of waiting for a replacement I just put this in and left the new pressure sensor unplugged. It's okay, but it would be nice not to pay for the sensor. Otherwise, the…

Great replacement. quiet operation

Great replacement. quiet work. I had to replace my original one 2 years ago and used a cheaper pump (Airtex) and it was noisy from the start. Eventually the internal check valve failed and the top pressure sensor failed as well. It was difficult to start, but after starting it started. I ended up replacing it with this pump and it starts right up and runs perfectly. I really have to listen to hear the boost pressure even when the key is on. The best way to swap out a pump in a truck is to…

  • Absolutely Amazing!

Wrong fuel pump for my truck but Revain website says yes.

This fuel pump has two separate electrical connectors as shown in the pictures but my truck only has a 4 pin connector. This is not the right fuel pump for my application and I had to return it for a refund. You cannot see the connections until either the platform is lifted off the truck or the fuel tank is lowered. FYI, raising or removing the bed is a lot easier than lowering the tank, especially when the tank is full. Of course you need a lift or a few helpers. Revane says on the info page…

Then everything started with a quick turn of the key. Thank you ACDelco!

My gas sensor has not worked since I bought my truck about 7 years ago. In the last 2 years it has become difficult to start with. I thought it was a check valve in the old fuel pump assembly that allowed fuel to flow back from the engine to the tank. This required the pump to fill the entire line before fuel could reach the engine. I had to pull my truck out of the grass to mow the lawn and when it came time to bring it back it wouldn't start. Luckily it was already in the Revain box, waiting…
