I was skeptical at first, but this player has surpassed everything I could imagine. It packs a lot of power for such a small thing. What I wasn't sure about was that I had to lift the lid and insert the disc. But in use I like that the drawer doesn't get stuck and broken, that should really extend the life of the player. Since it's 12v (via the included adapter) I can use it in my camper too. I liked it It comes with an HDMI cable which seems to be of a higher quality than I sometimes get with a product. The remote could use some improvements in button layout design, but that's a minor issue. I'm amazed they can pull this off for such a low price. (Ha, I paid over $1,500 for a Sony Betamax DVR in the late '70s. Hooray!)
