Review on Gigabit Wireless AP RB951G-2HND πŸ’» Mikrotik with 1000mW Power and 5 Ports by Anastazja Matejczyk

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am one hundred percent satisfied with the purchase, I recommend this product to everyone.

At this pricing point, it would be tough to list any potential drawbacks, but I was pleasantly delighted to see that the package included both the actual router as well as the power supply unit. Fantastic configuration right out of the box. Although it makes perfect sense to push wlan and ether2-master-local into the bridge, the fact that the local address is tied to wlan is counterintuitive. I pondered the issue for for twenty minutes, trying to figure out why disabling the wireless network interface would cause my wired connection to fail. Whoever this product is not an appropriate fit for: 1) Regular users who have little interest in gaining an understanding. (Particularly if the service provider is beeline or someone similar who offers 2022 l2tp or whatever they call it there) 2) In the event that you require unusual capabilities from the router (torrent downloader, etc.) 3) For those who are holding out hope that the master will configure it for you in exchange for a nominal fee. The majority of visiting masters are only familiar with 10–20 different versions of soho routers, such as dir–300, rt–n16, keenectik, and others. Who is the intended user of this device? 1) Those who are able to read and comprehend what they are reading. Documentation is present, and it contains written explanations for everything. 2) In a small office, where the purchase of a Cisco router is not recommended due to space constraints. 3) Those who do not possess the functioning of normal soho soap dishes. 4) Those who require a router in order to establish a failover connection through two or more service providers. 5) Customers who need a router specifically, as opposed to the lewdness that they sell at prices that are equivalent.

Pros
  • 1) An incredibly user-friendly winbox and an exemplary CLI 2) A sufficient amount of documentation on the wiki 3) Compact size, bland design Fourth, the Metarouter. I gave it a try to be sure it would work, and it did. 5) Pulls nearly 100 mbit/s across the beeline's l2tp connection. 6) The capacity to compose scripts, react to events, communicate by email and text message, and so on (have not tried it yet) 7) Capability to utilize DHCP settings and choices 8) Price
Cons
  • During the course of the operation, did not disclose.
