Less than two years later I had to buy a new lock. Of course, that in itself is frustrating. The previous lock was from Menard and cost almost three times as much as this one. But two months later, the problems started. First, the handle had to be thrown down with more force. Later it started to stick and made a popping noise just before opening. Then a few more months later it wouldn't open until the handle was pulled up. I finally gave up when it wouldn't open at all unless tossed up and down for a few tosses. This castle of Ohuhu is impressive. It fits the door very well, has a nice finish, smooth movement, and the door opens before you're done knocking over the handle. Marvelous. The instructions were almost useless and too small - a sheet would fit in the palm of your hand, but after changing the lock several times for myself and others, I knew what to do. Better security means longer screws, so I was disappointed to see short screws in the box. Instead I used my own. There was no tool to replace the handle, although there appeared to be a hole to access such a tool. Then I'm not sure what the other reviewers complained about in terms of the handle folding or how it might fit in the door. My rating is only four stars because of the instructions and the small screws. Beginners need better. The looks, smooth function and perfect fit (previous parts had to be put through holes) give me confidence that this is a quality product. The price is almost unbelievable. Great experience installing and using it!
