As mentioned earlier this filter is a cheap version of the Ford Motorcraft filter with rubber tips. I made the mistake of ordering it from Revain based on average reviews but didn't read the comments until the cheap pressed paper filter arrived. Not only does the paper have fewer wrinkles, the ends appear to be glued or just pressed paper rather than rubber to seal the container and top of the block. I was surprised to see that the filters available at my local parts store are the best. are the same, so this fake is actually what Motorcraft makes for the aftermarket (parts shops). I'm sure the Ford dealer sells genuine rubber tipped filters. I found the WIX filter to be of better quality than even the original Motorcraft rubber tipped filter, which is consistent with my experience with WIX in the past. WIX part number: WL10050.
