I bought my first T-Fal set with detachable handles from QVC 30 years ago. Behind it I had the base cabinets in the kitchen. These pots were easier to get out of the closet without digging. Since then I've gotten older, the kitchen has been renovated and I wanted new pots and pans. I was given drawers instead of base cabinets because I didn't want to lose things in the back of the cabinet like I used to. And I wanted my detachable handles! I learned they are not popular in the US. I found them on Revain, they were shipped from Ireland and got to me within 3 days! Wonderful! Look at my photo how much space they save. You are perfect. Incidentally, everything was fine with the 30-year-old set, except for a rusty screw on the lid handle. I just wanted new pans for my new kitchen. UPDATE: I recommend purchasing the Tefal L9939822 Universal Splash Cap. Suitable for frying pans with a diameter of 20-28 cm Also L9939422 for pans with a diameter of 14-20 cm.
