I used this thing as my regular commute from my apartment to work for roughly half a year. Doing that, it worked fantastically. It was able to take on the bumpy roads where I live and could catch some serious speed which helped getting to work. Cutting down my commute from a 30 minute walking adventure to a speedy 10 minute diversion. Once I moved I continued to use the scooter as an activity to ride during the evenings. The roads were about as bumpy, not perfect conditions, but the scooter took it generally really well and was still a blast.Folding worked after you got the hang of how specific you need to be. You almost need to push the bar forward before flipping the lever for it to fold properly. Took a bit of practice but I got it after a while. The suspension was cool to feel at first, but it never really felt like it worked. Or at the very lease, besides feeling the deck lowering a bit when stepping on it, much like a bike, I never noticed a difference when I hit a hole. If anything the wheels played a bigger part in keeping the rides smooth than the suspension.By September, 8 months after I ordered it, the scooter was already falling apart. The turning was borderline unusable, instead requiring me to lean into turns more often. This was partly my fault due to the weather conditions I rode through at points. however the deterioration of the turning mechanic due to, at most, light rain, is pretty insane. Partly due to the headset used on this scooter which is only really hidden by a piece of plastic-y rubber. The elements can get to it very quickly. The piece of the device that raises the handlebars also started to act up, the inner plastic piece came unaligned and caused the handle bars to wobble more than usual, still safe to use, but I could feel the break was coming.A little over a year after purchasing, in December, the plastic piece finally broke away and the scooter's handle bar piece fell off, rendering it unusable. Now I wasn't exactly kind of the scooter during usage, really pushing how fast I could push and jumping from sidewalk to street to keep momentum. But I was shocked by how quickly it failed and where it failed. Of all the scooters I've had, I've never had the handle bar borderline come loose and snap off. It is most likely due to the nasty and horrible plastic piece they use as a part of the clamp to keep the bar centered. For most, this scooter will fulfill its purpose perfectly. As long as you don't ride it through rough weather and keep it safely stored indoors when not in use. However, the quick deterioration was disappointing regardless. Still, I would absolutely get another one similar, if the build quality was a bit better.
