Review on 📹 iSaddle CH02A YI Dash Camera Mount Holder - Vehicle Video Recorder/Car DVR Camera Windshield & Dashboard Suction Mount Holder by Devin Maselli

I've only had this a few weeks but will take a chance and say I like it. I bought a Vikovation DVR. The suction cup that came with the kit was embarrassing. Even when new, the suction cup had some play on the hard part, causing it to wiggle no matter how well I attached it to the windshield. Over time, under the Florida sun, it became more of a pendulum and eventually lost its ability to stick. The Vikovation mount came with two different attachment methods. One of these was a kind of cage that you put the camera in, which I preferred because the camera was quick and easy to remove when getting in and out. There was a ball on the cage and it was a bit smaller than the ball on this iSaddle so it didn't fit the socket and wouldn't let me tighten it. However the mount that fits on the iSaddle as pictured must be a bit standard as I was able to just clip the camera directly to it and hold it in place making it difficult to remove but that's not a fault. this product. It's actually a virtue because you want it to be tight for videos, right? So with no modifications to the mount, I could just glue it on and go! Best of all, when the iSaddle was placed on the window and the little lever pressed, it stuck to the window very firmly, unlike the old Vikovation mount. Now the video is nice and stable. It also has enough friction that I can adjust the angle of the dashcam without loosening anything while still staying in place. The only downside I see is that I don't think the transparent suction cup that failed with Vikovation would last longer on the iSaddle. I think it's just a property of the material and not compatible with the hot Florida sun. It should be noted that I have no experience using the product in cold weather. It's just never been cold here this year. Sorry northerners.
