Firstly the only reason it's not 5 stars is because they are supposed to get a 6 in the drop and they don't offer 4 in the drop options . As an FX4 F-150 owner, I don't need a small drop, but I really appreciate the buffer it provides between the trailer and my truck to reduce hitch bounce (bounce) when accelerating with a heavy load in my dump trailer. This doesn't eliminate the action, but it does reduce the harshness felt when it occurs. The components are solid and I'm not worried about the durability of the product, but I wish they would offer a less drip option.
