My Review of this Device after Initail Setup:I have had one dashcam for years and i needed to buy a new one for my Subaru forester. I wanted a mirror based dashcams so that i can see whats being recorded andi dont need to be in doubt whether the video is being recorded or not, since the one i had earlier from other vendor did not have screen or lcd ,i constantly needed to check my phone and connect it over wifi to see if the video is being recorded or not.After the thorough analysis over online landed me to Vantrue M2 Dashcam , which i thought would try to see if it matches my requirement.The below experience is from my initial setup.My Setup:1.Only the front Mirror mounted Dashcam.Gps logger have not installed,but planning to install sometime this week. My subaru forester already has rearview dashboard , so for now i am planning to use only the Front mirror Dashcam.Setup is very straighforward and mounted it over my existing mirror in no time using the rubber strap provided. As soon as i started my car,it brought up the screen and guidedme through the steps ,it was so easy to setup. The touchscreen LCD is very responsive and well designed . I like the power, AV port and SD card slot on top of the mirror,so that i can run the cable over the trim . Design wise i like it very much. The manual provided is very detailed and helped me with all the questions i had.Setup gets 5 out of 5.Video quality:I did a small trip to check the quality of the video and audio input of the dashcam. The video quality of front can be adjusted to 1440p or 1080P and the rear is default to 1080P.Since i used only the front dashcam for now , i used 1440P with 30fps and 3 minute loop. I should say the video quality is amazing and i dont see any flickering or stutteringthe video was streaming without any lags. I have provided some of the footage from my small trip,pls check it for yourself.From the video i could see the oncoming vehicles as well as vehicle infront of me very clearly and i could see number plates very clearly.But i was talking very slowly i guessthats the reason the audio was feable. But that should not be the problem.Video Quality gets 4.5 out of 5 and Audio gets 4 out of 5I would post further review when i get time in few weeks after some more use of it during day and night.
