This product is a scam and doesn't actually function as a reliable dash cam.Reason 1 - even with the fastest sd card on the market I still get warnings that say my sd card is slow and the warnings interrupt the recording. The M2 seemed to be a great choice having already owned a couple of other VanTrue dashcams but it was a big letdown upon plugging in. I have been having a really hard time with the touch screen, especially with the date and time. The mirror itself seems well built. This may be a firmware issue. Received the Vantrue M2 Today, FAST SHIPPING.Can't wait to open the box and installed it to my New Lexus RX. Inside the box have EVERYTHING you need, even the orange plyer tool that help you to tuck the wire in between the rubber and plastic (inside the car). I love this dash cam, seems easy to use and I like the fact that it’s touchscreen. The wiring for the backup camera is long which should make it easier for me to set it all up. The camera quality also seems good. Though I’ll have to try out the desktop application to view the software. Just setting it up quickly in the car works great. Overall a nice dash cam!

Alright, so I’ve had dash cams for a really long time and wanted to try a rear view cam. It works really well. But, I did attach the red break wire and it stopped working. And the rear camera is good but not great. I think another reviewer mentioned it as well, how at night, when a car is near with their headlights on, the lights block your view. The brightness overtakes .

The camera is good. But the company is short-sighted and disgusting. In order to record the videos you have to buy sd card from them.

Absolutely loved this camera. The video quality is just amazing, Easy to use touchscreen and the night vision really clear with no glare. Super easy to install and adjust the settings to my liking was a breeze. I highly recommend.

My husband absolutely loved it he installed it it took him about three hours the night vision and the Blindspot that it shows in the car is amazing
