Great solution for those wanting a dash cam

I’ve had dash cams in the past and I’ve always wanted something that wasn’t stuck to my windshield. When I found this item I was totally blown away with the engineering and simplicity of this setup. I’ve used it now for a few weeks and I’ve got to say that I’m really impressed with this product. It features a high def front and rear camera, in a package that mounts to your existing mirror. A very slick setup that is universal for pretty much all vehicles. The new mirror "clamps” on with two rubber straps and plugs into your 12 volt power. Next step is to mount the rear camera which can be done inside if it’s too troublesome to do outside of the vehicle. Once you’ve done that everything is ready to go, however, you will need a micro SD card as this does not come with one. This is the only reason I docked this item one star, for the money I felt the manufacturer could have included it even a small sized one. The user interface is very friendly and easy to use, you’ll see from my video how quickly you can switch from front to rear camera. It functions much like our smartphones do and has a recording button on it to turn it off should you wish. I also like the fact that I can completely turn off the display if I want to use this as a standard rear view mirror. The menu is also very simple and easy to navigate - allowing you to change settings on the fly although best bet would be to have your passenger do it or pull over. The display during the day is extremely bright and hardly bothered by glare or light. At nighttime it does a really good job and I have no problem making out what objects this item is recording. One final feature to note is the front camera on the back of the mirror is moveable, thus you can move the mirror to where it’s comfortable for you. Then you can adjust the camera behind the mirror to line up with the front of your vehicle to get the best view point. I should note the major features like shock sensor etc. will only work to my understanding if the unit has power. Thus if your 12 volt turns off with the vehicle you’ll lose recording while the vehicle is off. The alternative which I plan to do is t
