K&N SRI for Honda Accord Coupe 2011

All in all a bit early to say as I only installed it less than a month ago. I have a 2011 Honda Accord Coupe (3.5L) but the dyno sheet is from an older model year. I'm guessing the motor/short rod design hasn't changed, but it would be nice if they updated the datasheet to indicate it's compatible with 2011 models. All parts were included and installation took about an hour. The only complaint I have about the diagram is that the two brackets are drawn from an ambiguous angle. Therefore you may need to check the fit of the elements first before tightening everything. Many forums point out that these types of products (CAI, SRI) don't really give the car more power as the stock airbox holds the intake well. cool, but the sound is pleasant. It almost sounds like I have a V-8 when the engine is >4000 rpm. Overall I can't find any major flaws with this product, I'll check back later. Also, the Check Engine light still doesn't come on! However, the 2011 Accord 3.5L V6 is held in place with two interconnected metal tubes. You only need to replace one of the two, so you should leave the other metal tube intact with no connections. It would be nice to close it to keep moisture out. Also, the kit requires you to remove the standard airbox, but not the pipe that runs under the battery. Moisture and dirt can collect there, so I'll remove them when I upgrade the HID.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • All ok
