We were very pleased to have this product arrive at our new home (just moved) and had high hopes for its functionality and relevance to our basic maintenance needs. I fastened it to the door and my wife started putting the keys in it. When she was done, she closed them and locked them; then tried to open it again. It didn't open. She called me from the garage project to see if she was doing something wrong. She was not. I've been working on opening the safe for a while with the same result of not being able to open it. I ended up having to pry it open with a screwdriver so we could get our keys. Extremely disappointed with this product. I recommend not wasting your money on this product.
