I wanted to start woodcarving to expand my woodworking business. I mainly do woodwork and projects and someone asked if I could make them a hand carved sign for their cabin. I've always been interested in woodcarving, so I said I'd see what I could do. I needed a basic set so I could practice before spending a lot of money on a good set. I thought this would be a good start, but they have such small chisel heads that I really don't think I could use them for anything other than maybe tiny wood carvings that require small cuts. I guess I'll have to keep looking for a regular sized set that can actually cut or get at least 3/4 inch out at a time.
