It was easy and simple to install. We wanted to remove the ceiling fan and replace it with a simple ceiling light. I chose a light fixture with traditional Edison screw fittings because I could control the brightness by choosing the wattage for installing the LED bulbs. I preferred this to the standard LED ceiling lights available at major department stores as they seemed too bright for the space. We didn't want a dimmer, and many of the standard LED ceiling lights don't work with a dimmer anyway. This was the best choice for the room.
