Klein has maintained the same philosophy throughout his work, IMO, -- simplicity. However, this is a true small scale design, nothing out of the ordinary, no fancy features, no exotic materials and no price tag. respectively. It's good. The bad news is that their incisors are always either not as sharp as they should be or cut too deep for their setting. This product is an example of these qualities. Using an 8AWG wire stripper, strip away a lot of the stranded wire, i.e. use a stranded wire cutter. This forces me to use a 6AWG cutter and pull as hard as I can to rip open the shell and reveal all the copper underneath. It's really unfortunate, and Milwaukee makes a similar product in this price range which I considered but stopped there. I would advise any potential buyer to try both and then decide. The tool is quite extensive, I would probably send it back. Hopefully Klein can calibrate his machines properly so these products can no longer come out and they can restore their brand prestige.
