I bought and installed 8 months ago. Today I tried to unlock it but it's full of dirt. The lid over the keyhole is very loose and ineffective. I can't even insert the key on a few attempts and can't get it to turn at all when it retracts. Visible dirt fell out on the first try. I'm going to grab some dry lube today to try and get it working. (It'll probably be good to have handy in the RV anyway, with those 47 locks and all 😆) One more thing, all the videos online tell you to use DRY lube because others attract and hold more dirt. Just a little PSA. Other than that, this lock works as expected, you know, the jamming bit and holding your hitch in the receptacle 😁 UPDATE: Dry lubricant did the trick when used as directed on the can (sprayed into the lock hole, sprayed with a wrench , then wiggled back and forth several times and mission accomplished!).
