The Arduino itself is not working properly. I don't see any damage to the circuit board. It's not the first time I've used it. Although this is my first time buying from this company. When I connect the board to the computer, the L LED (pin 13) blinks three times quickly, then stops and then blinks continuously. My computer doesn't register the device on any port, so I can't download anything to it. Tried to reset in different ways. It does not work. Tried different cables, doesn't work either. I have three other Arduinos (two I bought at the same time and one I bought many years ago) that I bought from other companies that work great, so the problem is with this unit. The included LCD is also very finicky. I connected it to my working Arduino and it worked, but if you move it while in use the display either goes blank or is distorted. Finally, for those who might have trouble getting the display to work, take a Phillips screwdriver and turn the screw halfway between fully opening and closing, otherwise you'll either see nothing or see all the white blocks showing your characters. .
