Amazing Computer Components

I have already programmed my very first program, the Larson Scanner, and am really enjoying it. If you want to learn programming, this is a good place to start.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • The list will be long.

The Arduino board didn't work.

The Arduino itself is not working properly. I don't see any damage to the circuit board. It's not the first time I've used it. Although this is my first time buying from this company. When I connect the board to the computer, the L LED (pin 13) blinks three times quickly, then stops and then blinks continuously. My computer doesn't register the device on any port, so I can't download anything to it. Tried to reset in different ways. It does not work. Tried different cables, doesn't work either.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Mostly OK, but...

Faulty USB on board

You get what you pay for. Cons: The board didn't stay connected to the computer, so it couldn't write to it. I replaced the USB cable with my own and found that pressing lightly on the USB connector works. Finally my program is loaded but I won't use it anymore. The supplied jumpers are also often lost on the breadboard, because they fell out when the voltage was applied. Pros: So far the components I've used for the project have worked well.

Pros
  • Waiting
Cons
  • Long time

I liked it, it could be improved

I have tested and used a number of components in this kit so far. This special version of the Arduino OSOYOO board has a strip with sockets for jumper pins. One of the power pins on this board was always very loose. Also, the size of the connecting wires is too small to fit well into the Arduino board's breadboard or sockets. I didn't try all the sensors, but the included display, jumpers, LEDs, the board itself, and the passive components all worked satisfactorily.

Pros
  • Good things
Cons

Suitable for school sets

Ideal for beginners. However, many of the included modules are either duplicates or simple elements (buttons) on a separate massive board.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expandable
