It's in the ACDelco box but this tensioner has a plastic roller. The belt fits the pulley correctly, but I doubt this tensioner will last 100,000 miles like the original tensioner. However, it's easy to change, but I would have preferred a metal pulley. I saw it at 1A Auto where they sell a metal pulley for this tensioner. I don't think it's worth all the trouble. Why not make a tensioner with a metal pulley out of the box. It's a strange world. This part looks good though and I'm hoping for the best. People on the Duramax forums are reporting tensioner and tensioner failures with devastating results. The radiators are broken and the cable ties are damaged. I hope these parts warn me before they fail. Damn, I could fail before that part fails. I am an old man!
