Review on Sony ICF-C212 White FM/AM Clock Radio with Full Power Backup - Enhanced SEO by Stephanie Armijo

I chose this radio because of its 9V battery backup. It definitely has a lot of power for such a small speaker. But you can't expect a radio like this to sound like a home theater. I read reviews from other buyers and came to the conclusion that those who swear by this product are untrue and unfair. Watch without reading the manual. I tuned the radio to a station and was amazed at the sound quality on the FM band. I bought this radio for a number of reasons: looks, price, features and design. The main thing I like about it is the backup power function, very useful if you are tired of wasting time resetting the clock. The green display is spot on too. Bright to see but not too bright to cause glare. The radio that I am replacing with the Sony has red LEDs and they are much brighter than the green ones that the Sony has. I only give this product 4 stars because I think the FM antenna should be built into the power cord. The sound can be a bit harsh at high volumes, but it's not meant to "rock the house," just wake someone up. SONY is a brand with a quality name. I highly recommend this radio.
