The handles are not too strong, the edges look sharp when you squeeze the dough without the handles
Very nice set. The handle isn't very strong (the one in my set was bent in the box), so you can press down on the edges of any dumpling, empanada, ravioli, cake or whatever from above. and bottom edges, not from the handles. Be careful though as the edge on the back of the crimpers is sharp as it can be used to cut circles out of crust dough for later use in assembling pocket pastries.
- Usage Tips: You can use a spoon to put the filling in the center, and then wet the edges of the round part to seal properly, press firmly to close the dumpling with a rolled edge
