Review on 🚙 Rugged Ridge 11401.31 Grille Insert, Black Mesh for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK by Robert Arneson

If you're anything like me, you probably spend countless hours researching everything you buy, no matter the price. I scoured the Jeep forums trying to get as much test material as possible before pulling the trigger on the Rugged Ridge Black Mesh Grille. In this case, the research was definitely worth it. I've read both good and bad reviews of every solution, from homemade wire mesh bought at your local hardware store to a high-end solution priced at over $200. My challenge was to find the best possible solution somewhere in the $50 range. When I opened the box, I realized I had a winner on my hands. This item has been carefully designed to perfection. I leisurely drilled four holes and installed the brackets holding the trellis behind the bars. The mesh itself isn't flimsy and will definitely protect the cooling fins from most, if not all, potential damage. I would definitely buy this product again and highly recommend it. If I had to estimate how long the installation took, I'd say somewhere within 30 minutes. During this time, the grille was removed from the jeep.
