Review on ☕️ Portable Coffee Filter Paper Bag: 50Pcs Single Serve Drip Bags for Travel, Camping, Home, Office by Alicia Lopez

Wow, the coffee is better than I expected; soft and fragrant

Your coffee brewing method with these filters is very important to the result. For this review I did the following. I've been looking at my coffee (using my regular coffee spoon) and water measurements as I'm not that picky, but my aim is around 14-15g of coffee per 200g of water. The water has just boiled. For this style of brewing, I prefer full immersion. I played with the paper holders on the bag to get the coffee close to the bottom of the cup but still be able to safely remove the bag. I want the coffee to stay in the water and not just flow out. I carefully poured the water into the bag, drained and repeated the process until I felt I had added enough water, being careful not to let the water level rise above the level of the bag. Then I let the coffee steep for about a minute before removing the pack. In my experience, simply pouring water through an open filter like this one with the sachet on top of the cup will result in a weaker drink. with shallow depth - IMO, the water just isn't in contact with the coffee long enough. Rating: I bought these bags with the idea of using them for travel and hiking. I have used a cloth filter sold for hiking in the past and was about to buy another for an upcoming family vacation when I came across these paper filter bags. They will be lighter and much more convenient for my purposes. I've only made two cups so far: one of the cheap, store-bought flavored coffees that my wife loves, and one of the high-quality, freshly roasted whole beans that I ground properly. before brewing. Both cups were much better than the same coffee beans in our drip coffee maker (our machine makes acceptable but not great coffee). What really surprised me is that I found brewing with freshly ground beans to be better than what I had previously done with the same beans on my AeroPress. I don't normally use flavored coffee in a press, so I can't compare them. There is less fuss with these bags than with an aeropress and with such good results I can easily use them both at home and when traveling and camping. My bags were vacuum sealed which is nice.
