This worked great for my needs. I was using the wrong style of claws, that is, until I saw a YouTube video about Pac Springs. They pointed out that the claw style could damage the feathers. So I figured I might as well order this guy as suggested. It worked well overall, but I found it a bit difficult to do two springs at once to work with the detents. A bit of lube to hold the pegs in place during installation and to ensure the springs centered under pressure seemed to do the trick. This tool did not come with instructions, I had to go back to the picture to even see how to assemble it. And there was still a bit of trial and error. gm 799 and a set of AFR heads they ended up replacing. The threads were a bit sharp and a bit rough, make sure you lubricate them well to avoid damaging the heads.
