Amazingly strong actor!

I bought two of these, one for a production chamber outside of our home (the POE injector is in the barn, this unit is indoors only), the other for my desk so I can use it can set up a stand to test your POE cameras without owning an expensive POE switch. As a POE injector it worked great. My production block has been running 24/7 and under load for a little over 2 months, the second has been on and off duty for about a month. Pros: - Blocks have key locks on both sides. In other words, they can be linked together like Lego for a convenient and safe setup if you have more than one device. The device has an internal switching power supply. That was very important to me. I wanted the device to be free of wall warts. Integrating an internal power supply requires significant overhead during the design phase, and they got it right. The power jack is a standard 3 pin polarized "PC" jack. It seems that all the components have been chosen correctly and the design has been slightly redesigned. The capacitors look like commercial Chinese ones but I don't see any signs of defects/leaks so I think they will be fine. The device is relatively compact - about the size of a modern cordless phone and quite light. It's light enough to be carried by the rigidity of the cables alone. The circuit board is beautifully engraved, screen printed/masked and double layered. The solder joints are wave-soldered, clean both on top, where most of the key components are, and on the back, where there are about a dozen surface-mount resistors. Personally, I would like the PCB to be a little cleaner of flux when wave soldering, but that's no big deal. Cons: I couldn't find them. 15W). It would be great to find something that supports 802.at (25W) in this footprint/configuration.
