I tried all the ways to get this stupid tool to work and found it time consuming. My wheels use quick release skewers and no matter how I installed the wheel into the tool, with or without additional spacers (go to the hardware store) to secure the wheel, I couldn't stop the wheel from wobbling. I found this case a serious waste of time and money. Once I got the wheel off the damn tool, I was able to properly tighten the cap nuts, spin the wheel in my hand, make sure there was no play in the axle, and then mount it on the bike, all in a fraction of a second. the time I spent trying to get this expensive junk to work for me. It is better to buy an old bike, remove the front fork and fix it upside down in a 4-6 inch vise and mount the wheel in the fork. Don't get me wrong, I use a park work stand and various park tools, but it's junk when you have a QR skewer in the wheel axle. and eliminated 99.9% of wheel wobble in a fraction of the time I spent trying to use the parking wheel holder tool. I used a super slim 17mm Capri wrench (this wrench is 1.5" longer than Park's 17mm cone wrench, giving more leverage and a better grip).; also uses a URREA 1217ML 17 mm (12 inch long) ring spanner. There are many videos on YT showing how to adjust a flare nut. It's a skill that comes with practice, practice, practice. After making a final adjustment to the flare nuts, I used the two wrenches above to tighten the two outer 17mm nuts (one on each side of the axle) against each other, tightening them maybe 1/8 turn more. After putting the wheel on the bike, all wheel wobble was completely gone.
