I was really excited when I first got it as I was looking for a way to hide all my cables under my desk. At first everything seemed fine. The ethernet latency was about the same as when connecting directly to the computer, so the work there is good and everything worked at first glance. But after restarting the computer it wouldn't boot because it couldn't find the keyboard. Strange. I fiddled with the cables and everything worked, but the next day the keyboard didn't work again (Steelseries Apex 5). The light came on, but the computer didn't recognize anything. Tried a new port, doesn't work. All other devices worked fine in all ports, but for some reason my keyboard was an exception. When connected directly it works fine. Unfortunately, since there are not that many hubs with Ethernet, it has returned.
