Review on πŸ”§ Achieve Precise Grayling Fletchings with the Right-Clamp Fletching Jig by Sammie Rodriguez

Didn't meet my expectations

I bought this light along with some other cheap plastic fletchers. I found this option to be the best of the three for the following reasons: - The magnet was the strongest and put more pressure on the arrow shaft. - The offset adjustment was the easiest and the markings were clearer. This made it possible to specify the offset degrees more precisely. However, I returned this product as it did not quite meet my expectations. Clamping tension is provided by plastic clamps, not metal springs. I wanted to put more pressure on the spring so it wouldn't move after I pinched it. Also, there was a groove on one side of the spring edge of the clip (I bought two to make sure it wasn't just the clip I got and both clips had a bulge). I needed a consistent ruler to ensure full contact when attaching fletching to the arrow shaft. I ended up buying a Bitzenburger Dial-O because I felt it offered more precise, consistent and even fletching.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Expensive
