Review on ASUS BW-16D1X-U External Blu-ray BDXL Drive: 16x Speed, BD Suite Disc, USB 3.0 Cable, Power Adapter and Cord Included by Jahan Arias

This drive is amazing but there is a lot to know about it What you can expect is an exceptionally high quality disc burner. It's not a very fast read and I haven't tried burning a Blu-Ray so can't comment on that. This is important though, IT DOESN'T COME WITH BLU-RAY MEDIA FIRMWARE SOFTWARE I didn't realize when I bought it but it can't connect and play Blu-ray movies, you really need to download software to do that in to be able to play movies. It works great with related software (4K, HD Audio, Immersive). I gave it 5 stars because as a tool (and what it's made for) it's incredibly high quality and painless to install. It's also quite large, check the measurements carefully. I like it, but definitely not for everyone.
