If you search for "Media Converters", "Baluns", "Audio Over Cat5", "Audio Over Cat6" you will find MANY cheap solutions on this site. These little things have an RJ-45 connector on one end and two short RCA connectors on the other. You are not working. You will hear the rumble of the earth, or you will hear no sound at all. But these Sewell baluns are the real deal: a transformer-style balanced audio balun. As a test I routed the connection via 5 patch panel connections and they worked perfectly. They are in no way inferior to similar devices from television and recording studios. You get what you pay for.
