
After hours of trying to figure out what I'm seeing, I think I get it. I assume it's Brix. Equation SG = 1 + ((Brix * 4)/1000). A simpler way to think about it is to just multiply the reading by 4 and append to the end of 1,000. .Example: The reading was 5, so 5*4=20, SG= 1.020. Of course, I can't verify that because my SG should be 1.020, so it's 1.014. Now should I waste my time with this thing or should I buy a new one? I really hate false advertising. What an awful product.
