This material does not adhere. It doesn't even stick to itself when deployed. Cleaning doesn't help, it doesn't stick anyway. Another thing is that he is not fat. It has what looks like drywall mesh tape, which is a single thick strand of fiberglass glued to the back of a piece of gold mylar. Definitely not worth $40. I was expecting to buy gold colored aluminized fiberglass that would really block the heat. Mylar only works if there is an air gap. Because of this, it won't work if it reflects heat. no air gap. Fiberglass is supposed to do that. but since there isn't a significant amount of glass on it, it won't work. DO NOT BUY!
