While I have a wide variety of dishwashing liquids, I find this product to be the best for hand washing all types of dishes or pans that I wash. Since I don't have a dishwasher, I wash everything by hand. I don't have to use a lot for dishwashing (a few drops per scrub and I get clean dishes. For my pan/pot I add a few drops for soaking and then when I rinse the pot/pan everything comes out caked I like too the fact that everything I wash is broken down and removed, plus I don't have debris in the pipes because the grease has been destroyed.Dawn is a product used to rescue animals affected by oil spills in the water It also helps keep my hands clean, since you don't have to use a lot to clean it's actually more economical than cheap soap
