It is evident that some thought has gone into this set. I'm currently not aware of anything really comparable on the market. Most sets with the same set of bits are typically 1/4 inch and have a short shank. The long, thin rods on the 4mm bits in this set are good for getting into the deep plastic holes where manufacturers hide their retainers. Finish This is not the typical dull gray shot peening found on most Chinese nozzles. Instead, the finish is a sleek, smooth satin finish. This is something like sandblasting or stonewashing, but with a higher degree of polishing. I have Wiha and Snap-On tools. it doesn't look that nice. All security bits have well centered holes. Flat blade screwdrivers are hollow. The screwdrivers themselves have a very nice, smooth anodized finish. Both screwdrivers are mostly aluminum, but the 1/4" screwdriver has a steel shank on the working end. Both drivers seem to have some sort of steel bearing on the rotating end caps. You can apply good force to them and they won't bind. The Grips have three flats to prevent rolling, however a tall driver is heavy enough that flat surfaces are unlikely to stop it very quickly if you get it rolling The case itself is pretty good - the contrasting layer of foam underneath is one nice touch. All the labels are fairly legible in good light and visibility. While it would be nice, it most likely wasn't possible to put contrasting labels on the foam rubber. The foam holds the bits very well. Putting the whole thing on the without the lid head, then only the drivers will fall out.Of course, this can change over time.The magnetic blanket l is neat but if I were going to toss the whole set in my bag I would do something to make sure it didn't open. Money. Most other kits only have 1/4" or 4mm bits, not both. This is a pretty complete set. I think iFixit has thrown down the gauntlet on this one.
