Cute but disappointing

I'm so disappointed because the latter is so cute but you just don't have enough yarn to embroider. This isn't my first cross stitch and I've split the thread to tie the pattern properly and it's still not enough. It's frustrating because you can't finish a section because you're running out of thread and move on to the next and keep track of the color numbers and then have to go to the store to buy more of each color. If you spend 60 cents per color, add $8 to the cost of the kit plus your time to drive to the store and buy the yarn you need. Not a good deal and quite greedy on the part of the manufacturer.
