I accidentally went down a size which resulted in somewhat premature bearing wear due to my error. It takes a lot of effort to remove the bearing, installing the bearing should be a bit cumbersome but not much effort. If you apply a force similar to that used when removing, you have done something wrong and stop immediately before damaging the bearing. The bearing is probably bent and needs to be removed before trying again. Disassemble the tool and recheck the attachments before trying again.
