Connection problems started after a year and a half. This worked well enough if the cable was oriented a certain way (loop up towards the windshield and then down) then it would make contact. Now the fuse blows. The original cable lasted over ten years until the jacket lagged behind the wires due to UV degradation. But this cable is not worth buying. The fit of the connector at the end of the device was always a bit loose. The cable is also unusually stiff for this type of product. It gets tangled in other cables like the dashcam. Stay away from this product; it's not even close to OEM quality.
