I installed this muffler on a 2008 Silverado with a 5.3 engine. I wanted a good sound, not too loud like some of the trucks I've heard, but thanks to others who left feedback on this Flowmaster I decided to give it a try. This is a great choice for deep tone and just the right amount of boom. My truck has an inlet and an outlet and it sounds powerful, not harsh like some exhaust sounds, with a single tailpipe. Let the young people wear 40s but the Suv Stainless Flomaster 50 is a good choice with good deep sound but not too loud in the cabin. I am more than satisfied with the Flomaster 50.
