The classic Flowmaster sounds, but fit for SUVs!

I built a single exhaust system with long pipes and no cats for my Denali XL. Super 50 sounds great. A little rumble at high speed on the highway, but the woman still manages to drown it out. I think it would be even quieter behind the cats. Perfect Match: Yes, I need to drive an SUV with my family, but I haven't given up that life with a hot rod yet!

Pros
  • Elegant design

Excellent external low rumble

I like a nice low rumble on the outside, I left the resonator on to keep it quiet on the inside. Super 50 is what you need. UPDATE: After driving around with this muffler for a while, I found that while it does have a low rumble, it's not much louder than stock. So I removed the resonator and it sounds a lot better. The same low hum, but a little louder at idle. It sounds great when you sit on it, but you're unlikely to drown in it. Ideal for me!

Flowmaster Sound!: Silencer

I just installed this on a 2018 F150 with a 5.0 liter V8 engine. From the factory it is too quiet. With the Super 50 installed, it now sounds like a truck. The Super 50 is relatively tame in the Flowmaster line, with a slight rumble at idle and a slight wakeup when you hit the gas. A good deep sound, not too loud and without rumble (the regular resonator stayed in place). It's a perfect upgrade to the factory sound with a bit of rumble and volume but no aggression or squeaks.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Faulty

Excellent sound for spare parts

I installed this muffler on a 2008 Silverado with a 5.3 engine. I wanted a good sound, not too loud like some of the trucks I've heard, but thanks to others who left feedback on this Flowmaster I decided to give it a try. This is a great choice for deep tone and just the right amount of boom. My truck has an inlet and an outlet and it sounds powerful, not harsh like some exhaust sounds, with a single tailpipe. Let the young people wear 40s but the Suv Stainless Flomaster 50 is a good choiceโ€ฆ

Chevrolet Suburban Z-71 2010

Sound and look perfect for my car. (Large SUV, family car with off-road package) Not too loud, but you know I drive a Flowmaster. It has a pleasant low rumble. Now I look forward to starting my car and running errands. The black finish goes well with the black and black exterior/interior. I was a little surprised that the sound was almost normal with the resonator still attached to the exhaust, but after the resonator was removed everything sounded as it should. I especially like it when itโ€ฆ

Louder than expected

Welded on my 2008 Chevy Silverado 5.3L yesterday and after reading the reviews it was a little louder than I was expecting. It's not too loud, but there is more noise in the cockpit than I expected. On the plus side, it weighs about half the weight of a standard muffler, saving you about 25 pounds. Overall I'm happy with it for the price. Update: I've decided to downgrade this review to 3 stars because I feel the muffler is getting louder. I checked my welds and everything is fully sealed. I've
