Objects in the mirror are further away than they appear. I had to go back because. The mirror is not flat. The problem is that the mirror or glass isn't thick enough to hold it flat. When they snapped the jar onto its plastic backing, it was no longer flat. You can easily bend the mirror by pressing up and down, at the same time you can deform the mirror. The same happens with the sides. The plastic backing is not strong enough to hold the glass flat.
