I'm in Florida. When I received it, it was no longer a round roll but almost triangular. And he couldn't get rid of the paper on either side. Unless I wanted to roll it into a ball. So I keep it in the freezer and cut strips as needed. I had to reinstall the taillights and the full width was too wide. I could cut the desired length and then cut the strip in half. But it will be softened so that it can be cut quickly. In the southern heat, it heats up within a few minutes and begins to stick to the paper. Shortly thereafter, it became sticky and easy to work with. I bought a used 5th wheel and plan on removing all the outside headlights and the old stuff, white spirit helps to clean and redo the non-scratching stuff. The cured tape is easy to cut, it does not roll and the excess squeezed out can be smoothed out with your finger after tightening (if the tape is too sticky, dampen with alcohol).
