Review on KidCo G1100 Auto Close Gateway: A 37-Inch Pressure Gate for Child and Pet Safety by Kimberly Banks

I thought I should buy this gate to use the Y bar required for my stairs (as per the Y bar specs) so I bought it. Goals are fine, no problems. The clasp didn't click so it didn't seem to close tightly but I think the overall quality was good. The reason I don't like this product is because it's so damn expensive! And when I realized my existing gates could work I had to ship them back to California and I lost a lot of money! And even though all the parts were included, they took $15 off my refund because I ripped the plastic. I'm on the east coast so I had to pay a hefty shipping and handling fee. Overall, I really enjoyed this experience! You're lucky I didn't give them a lower rating but I don't want to fool you about the quality of the gate itself. I would say check your local stores first before spending big bucks on such standard gates that you may not need at all.
